Sweep and Balance Certification Program
(Level 1)

Description
The Broadband Sweep and Balance Certification (BSBC) designation demonstrates the Technician’s ability to balance the forward path, perform forward sweep, perform reverse alignment using reverse sweep, and perform proof of performance testing (i.e., C/N, CTB, CSO).

Level 1 Certification is earned by passing a 2-hour written exam. The exam is available in both hard copy form and online via the Internet.

To successfully pass the written examination, candidates must obtain a minimum score of 70%.

Requirements
Prerequisites are not required for any candidate. However, SciCare Training highly recommends attendance in the Sweep and Balance course.
